Where to purchase repertoire and resources – sheet music, books and CD’s

URJ Books and Music – this is the site for URJ Press, Soundswrite recordings and Transcontinental Music Publishing, the music publishing house for the Reform Movement.  You’ll find hundreds of items from CD’s, to sheet music, to music books to help with planning and preparing services.  Questions are answered by a knowledgeable and helpful staff.

OySongs – Run by our own GTM member, Susan Colin, the site features downloadable audio and sheet music.

Soundswrite Productions – The CD branch of URJ publishing.

Transcontinental Music Publishing – The largest music publishing house for the Reform Movement.

Cantor’s Assembly – The site for Cantors within the Conservative Movement, they have a store with excellent resources.

Sacred Music Press – Bookstore of the Hebrew Union College, including sacred repertoire and out-of-print music

CD Baby – Not strictly a Jewish Music site, but a huge marked of artist-produced CD’s.  You can find many recordings by GTM members here.

Hatikvah – This is where you’ll find some great Classic, Klezmer, Ladino, Sephardic, and Yiddish Music, including some of the great old comedy albums.

Jewish – all kinds of stuff here including Torah commentaries.

Israel Music – Israel and Jewish Music, DVD’s of all types and films.

Milken Archive of Jewish Music – The premiere site for Jewish music. One of the largest collections of Jewish music ever assembled.

Tara Publications – a huge resource in Jewish Music, particularly Chassidic, Yiddish and Klezmer.  They also sell sheet music.

Tzadik – Dedicated towards releasing the best in avant garde and experimental music.  Founded by Jazz great John Zorn.

Jewish Liturgical Music – Calling itself “a repository for of mostly Ashkenazic Jewish music” the site is dedicating towards promoting Jewish liturgical choral music.  A great resource for choral conductors.
