Mifgash Musicale: The Summer Institute for Synagogue Musicians, an intensive 5 day course of study for cantorial soloists, synagogue accompanists, conductors, and musical directors that takes place at Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati.  Topics may include music for Shabbat, the High Holidays, or the Three Festivals. Faculty members are from Hebrew Union College, the Union for Reform Judaism, and recognized professionals in the field of sacred Jewish music.

ACC/GTM National Convention, a yearly 5 day conference where members learn, gather, connect, and network.  The 2018 ACC/GTM Convention will be held in Dallas, Texas from June 24-28, “Deepen Your Heart in Texas!”

JLicense allows Jewish organizations to now legally and easily license their use of copyrighted material including music and lyrics.

  • Your use of copyrighted music in live streams and events, resource recordings, handouts, on-screen projections, and much more, are all made legal under JLicense.
  • Composers, authors, and publishers responsible for your program or worship content will be paid fairly for your use of their work.

You will also be signed on to the “For Members” area of the website where you will find a variety of articles, music resources, and much more including:

  • The ACC/GTM Membership Directory, including contact information for cantors and Guild members, as well as geographical and professional cross-references
  • The ability to create a directory “page” for yourself where you can list a full biography, a discography, post song samples, and link to videos of yourself. Song samples will also be available to the general public through the site’s “Our Music” area, a searchable database with links to on-line stores where visitors will be directed to purchase music
  • Timely information about summer conventions, mid-winter conferences, regional workshops, and other professional development opportunities of interest to you, several open only to GTM members
  • Educational articles, member information, job postings, and upcoming events such as competitions and concerts

Dues are due in full on the 1st of August each year
